Bahi District in Dodoma Region is emerging as an important location for mineral-processing activities in central Tanzania.
Zhongzhou Mining Company has established its mineral-processing project in the Zamahero/Mayamaya area of Bahi District, where the company focuses on nickel and copper processing and refining.
The location provides strategic access to mineral resources while supporting the development of industrial activities outside Tanzania’s traditional commercial centres.
The company’s planned industrial facilities include mineral-processing and smelting infrastructure together with supporting systems for ore handling, water, power, waste management and security.
The development reflects the growing role of mineral processing in Tanzania’s industrialisation and mineral value-addition agenda.
Zhongzhou Mining Company aims to develop its operations with a focus on efficient processing, responsible operations and long-term industrial value creation.
