Zhong Zhou Mining Company Ltd is a licensed mineral processing and smelting company operating in the Bahi District of Dodoma Region, Tanzania. The company is focused on nickel and copper value addition, supporting Tanzania's national strategy to process and refine minerals locally rather than exporting raw ores.
Our flagship processing facility in Zamahero / Mayamaya represents a significant industrial investment aimed at strengthening Tanzania's mineral sector, creating employment, and promoting long-term economic development.

Zhong Zhou Mining is not a traditional extraction-focused mining company. Our core business is mineral processing and refining.
- Processing and smelting of nickel and copper ores

Investment & Infrastructure
Zhong Zhou Mining has invested over USD 15 million in the development of an industrial-scale processing and smelting facility, including ore storage and handling yards, waste management and environmental control systems, water recycling and power infrastructure, and security and monitoring installations.
Employment & Skills Development
We are committed to creating meaningful employment, with 200–300 direct and indirect jobs and priority given to residents of surrounding communities — including technicians, operators, mechanics, laboratory staff, logistics and security personnel.
Environmental & Social Responsibility
Zhong Zhou Mining operates in compliance with Tanzania's environmental and mining regulations, under the oversight of the National Environment Management Council (NEMC) and the Ministry of Minerals — with controlled waste handling, air-emission management, water conservation and an approved Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). This also underpins our role in Tanzania's Mineral Value Addition Policy and the growth of Dodoma as an industrial center.
